Some state Web sites are now reporting disciplinary and investigative actions that have
been taken against physicians and the status of their state licensing. This information
varies dramatically by state. Some allow the user to search for a specific physician and
then report any "actions" in that physician’s profile. Others list all
"actions" by date range. Most provide the information free but some charge a per
report fee.
The list of Web sites below report on some aspect of physician licensing status and any
"actions" that have been taken relative to the physician. Each state has
different definitions of license status and "actions." You are encouraged to
